Noun and their number 

Noun can be divided in to two parts.

1.Countable nouns: Nouns that can be counted.          

 Ex:Car,Books,Dog,Girls etc 

 

 2.Uncountable nouns: Nouns that can't be counted.   

Ex: Water,Sugar,Love,Hate etc..

Countable nouns have two forms- 
Singular noun and Plural noun.

 Singular number-  Only one person or one thing.

Ex:Boy,Cow,Book,City,Mango,Wife,Ox,Tree, etc.

Plural Number -More than one person or thing.  

Ex:Boys,Cows,Books,Cities,Mangoes,Wives,Oxen,Trees, etc.
